Back to Basics
First I would like to thank Think Recovery for allowing me to participate in reaching out to my peers about our current economic situation and being part of the solution. The more people that are involved in our cause the faster we will make a difference and start on the ‘Road to Recovery’.
This blog is going to concentrate on what we can do to achieve financial freedom by getting out of debt, both in business, and personally. Then and only then can we start to accumulate wealth. To do this we need to look at the whole picture. How we got into this position but better yet, how in order to get out we need to commit to change. What we are currently doing is not working and there has to be a paradigm shift in our thinking.
I welcome all of your comments and feedback. Not only will I share with you what I am doing to help people with their quest to live a life with no debt, but I would like to highlight what other people are doing to help in the effort to bring our society back to basics and save money with out compromising quality.
To get back to basics we need to re-evaluate our lives and how we have allowed the busy lives that we all live to increase our need for convince, and decrease our search for value. We are willing to pay $5.00 for a cup of coffee when we can’t afford our bills. We work harder and longer hours and need more. We have adapted to the PDA way of life. (I am a slave to my new iPhone, so I am not criticizing by any stretch of the imagination.)
New Years Resolutions are when most people look to reset and go back to basics. They want to lose weight and get out of debt. Both are great concepts but if you don’t have a plan, or a coach, most of us fall off both wagons by the start of the second quarter. Just as a personal trainer and nutritionist are going to keep your health goals on track, United First Financial is your financial coach to help you stay on track with your financial goals by helping clients eliminate debt. A sure fire way to succeed in our big picture plans.
As we start to look more closely at the current problems we have with debt, we are going to try and use the resources of our community to find solutions. If you know of a way to bring our readers back to the basics, and see how they can find value without sacrificing quality and service please email me your story. I look forward to not only sharing my knowledge but also learning from all of you.
Have a wonderful day!
